The two major individual tournaments usually are\u00a0World Amateur Go Championship\u00a0(WAGC) and\u00a0Korea Prime Minister Cup\u00a0(KPMC). Participating in these competitions can be a big adventure, as they are held in Asia and countries from all around the world send their best amateur go players to fight for the title. In addition, the organizers often cover many costs for participation such as accommodation. Sweden also participate in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pandanet-igs.com\/communities\/euroteamchamps\">Pandanet European Team Championships<\/a>\u00a0which is played online spanning a year with the final taking place during the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/senseis.xmp.net\/?EGC\">European Go Congress<\/a>\u00a0(EGC). During the EGC one can also participate in the individual European Championships.
