Stockholm Go club invites everyone to participate in the Stockholm Open Weiqi Tournament. It’s an open tournament which means anyone can participate.<\/p>\n

Date:<\/strong>
\nAug 31st-Sep 1st, 2024<\/p>\n

Venue:\u00a0<\/strong>
\nThe tournament will be held at the\u00a0China Cultural Center<\/a>, beautifully located by Kungstr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden in central Stockholm. The address is V\u00e4stra Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdsgatan 2 with access to a myriad of restaurants and hotels.<\/p>\n

Registration fee:<\/strong>
\n300 SEK – normal fee
\n100 SEK – if you are at most 18 years old or if you are ranked lower than 15k
\n100 SEK – If this is your first tournament and you are at most 2 kyu<\/p>\n

Prizes:\u00a0<\/strong>
\n1st place – 2800 SEK
\n2nd place – 1200 SEK
\n3rd place – 800 SEK
\nAdditional prizes will be awarded to best female player and best junior player.<\/p>\n

Rules:<\/strong>
\nThe tournament will be a 5 round MacMahon tournament, with Chinese rules.
\nEach player will have 60 minutes main time and 3×30 seconds byoyomi.
\nKomi is set at 7.5.
\nThe tournament will be reported as an EGF A-tournament.<\/p>\n
