Dear go friends,
the congress is approaching very fast now, and we are very excited that so many go lovers are coming to Leksand!
* The telephone number to the info desk is +46 703021419. If you have any problems you can call us and we will do our best to help us. Please note that mobile phone calls from abroad can be quite expesive.
* The airport shuttle busses: There are some new important news on
http://www.egc2008.eu/en/travel/bus.php about the exact bus departure times and bus stop locations. Please read it and bring it along with you if you are going with one of our airport bussen to Leksand. Sorry for the late announcement, we have struggled a bit to get busses that are suitable for as many of you as possible.
* The excursion "Around Siljan" is unfortunately booked out. However, there are still a few seats left on the "Daleraclia tour" and "Stockholm weekend" excursions. If there is enough interest, we might arrange the "Around siljan" the second wednesday as well.
* Note that the registration is not open on July 27th. If you want to play the first round, please register July 26th or earlier. The registration will be open very late the night before the main tournament begins.
* The pair go tournament starts already on Monday, July 28th, and it will be an exciting tournament, since there are so many female players registered. It is sponsored by the Japanese pair-go association, which allow us have good prizes for this event. Pairs of the same country can have an average rating of maximum 6 dan, pairs from different countries must be weaker than 5 dan in average. The tournament is played without handicap.
