Terms of Payment
Registration, booking of accommodation and meals.
1. Registration
All participants in EGC 2008 must register. To register, fill in the specific registration forms on the congress website. Registration is regarded as complete and valid when at least 25% of the registration fee has been paid.
2. Accommodation
Accommodation can be booked through the EGC-team. To book accommodation, fill in the specific booking forms on the congress website. The reservation is regarded as complete and valid when at least 25% of the accommodation cost has been paid and the availability of the chosen type of accommodation has been confirmed. Early booking is advisable. For bookings before the 15th of March 2008, no administrative fee is charged. Following that date a booking fee of 5% is added.
3. Meals
Meals can be reserved at fixed prices beforehand. The reservation is regarded as complete when at least 25% of the price has been paid.
4. Payment
Payments are made in Swedish crowns. Discount on the entry fee will be given according to the table. Before the 30th of September 2007 a larger discount will be given, under the condition that 100% of the entry fee is paid.
4.1 Means of payment
4.1.1 Online
Payment can be made on Internet in connection with the registration. All major credit cards are accepted.
4.1.2 Deposit in bank account
It is possible to deposit the money in EGC 2008’s bank account. When such a transfer takes place the registration code, received during the registration phase, MUST be included.
Bank transfer costs should be paid by the registrant.
4.1.3 Credit card terminal
When the Swedish Go Federation’s payment terminal is available, it is possible to make a payment. All major credit cards are accepted.
4.1.4 Cash payment
Cash payment can only be made on arrival in Leksand 2008.
4.2 Advance payment
To benefit from possible discounts, at least 25% of the entry fee must have been paid.
The remainder of the fee can be paid at your convenience or on arrival in Leksand.
5. Confirmation
When we have received your on-line registration and payment, we will send you an e-mail with a confirmation as soon as possible. If you make a deposit to the bank account or use the credit card terminal, please allow for a delay of up to two weeks before we can process your registration.
6. Cancellations
6.1 Registration
A cancellation of a registration prior to the 15th of June 2008 will result in an administrative fee of at most 200 SEK. After the 15th of June 2008, refunds on the registration fee cannot be guaranteed.
6.2 Accommodation and meals
A cancellation of accommodation prior to the 15th of June 2008 will result in an administration fee of at most 200 SEK. After the 15th of June 2008 refunds on the payment cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation of reserved meals can be made without any cost up to July 19th 2008.
7. Privacy
The registration requires sharing some personal information, and by the filling in the forms the applicant accepts that this information may be used to fulfil our undertakings towards the applicant. The EGC organiser will not forward any sensitive personal information, such as e-mail addresses or card numbers to any third party.
