By Train
To buy tickets and check train schedules, go to www.sj.se.
When buying train tickets online at www.sj.se you will be asked for a telephone number. If you don't have a Swedish phone number you should then enter the phone number of the train company instead: 0771 - 757575.
Note that the prices for the tickets varies quite a lot, depending on far in advance you buy them. The cheapest ticket are released 90 days before departure.
From Stockholm or Arlanda
The trains from Stockholm to Leksand leave almost every hour on weekdays and every second hour on weekends. These trains also stop at the Arlanda airport. The normal price is SEK 273, but you can get them cheaper if you buy them at the right time. The travel time from Stockholm is 3h05 and from Arlanda 2h48.
